Jonathan Dutton,  Non-Executive Director,  ACCSR,  (Dec 2013 - Dec 2017)

Jonathan Dutton has been the ‘secret sauce’ of ACCSR’s success over the last three years.

As non-executive director, he has systematically reviewed and improved every aspect of our sales and marketing, financial management, team performance management and team skills building approach.

He is an outstanding business coach and trusted professional advisor who always acts with integrity and a calm and cheerful demeanor. He is also a consummate speaker, facilitator, and writer.

I have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan as someone who is always a great pleasure to work with and always delivers as promised.

Dr Leeora Black

Managing Director

The Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (ACCSR)

Jonathan Dutton specialises mostly in business transformation and growth through strategic sales, marketing, strategic communications & business development work based upon expert knowledge, experience & insight into professional procurement. He also frequently consults in procurement, especially learning & development strategy and programmes.

JD provides services in consulting, interim management and public speaking including MC work, group facilitation and developing specialist training courses for procurement & sales professionals working on both sides of the negotiating table.

During the last few years, Jonathan has also worked on an interim basis as an Interim CEO, Interim Managing Director, interim Sales & Marketing Director, Interim CMO ... but not yet an Interim CPO, strangely! He has also worked as a consultant & contractor, NED & board advisor, sales rep & a buyer, training & facilitator, speaker & MC.

As a non-executive director he has worked for several organisations, both on boards and advisory groups as well as in an advisory capacity. And he has also worked 'hands-on' as a consultant, advisor, coach and even a line manager at the desk ... in fact, JD can walk comfortably "with commoners or kings" as Kipling put it, and works well with sales reps or CEOs, project managers or public officers and directors or admin assistants.

Jonathan Dutton - Facilitator : Brand Strategy & Key Messaging WORKSHOP  Sept 2021

It’s always harder to present a workshop on zoom but I must say you ran it exceptionally well and we were delighted with the outcomes.  What you delivered in a short timeframe saved us months of work and got us much closer to understanding how to set the brand and messaging for our business and platform.

Jonathan Dutton,  Interim CMO, BidWrite,  (April - Dec 2014)

JD worked part-time for BidWrite as a marketing consultant and Interim CMO throughout much of 2014.

Marketing was a part of our business that we knew needed attention – but we couldn’t pin point underlying        issues or what needed to be fixed.

JD highlighted contradictions in our thinking, asked us difficult questions and challenged our traditional views.

He helped clarify our vision, branding, marketing resourcing and developed a clear marketing strategy that        continues to guide our success.

He leveraged his depth of experience to provide entirely objective advice and yet back this up with practical recommendations.

His input over just a few short months improved our strategic thinking and added real value to how we approach our business development, our sales & marketing work and how we position ourselves to one of our top three markets.
