JD Consultancy was established in Australia in 2004 by seasoned general manager, business leader and marketeer, Jonathan Dutton, who has spent a career working on both sides of the negotiating table
as either a buyer or a seller. Then, after almost a decade as the founding CEO of the CIPS Australasian region of the global peak body for procurement, Jonathan reactivated JD Consultancy in February 2013
With over 30 years experience across several industries and in a variety of senior roles across sales & marketing, procurement & supply and general management, Jonathan works as an independent business consultant helping organisations achieve transformational change and growth through applying his core values of focus, insight, reality and speed.
Having stood down after three years or so as CEO at the ANZ region's largest provider of procurement events, PASA, Jonathan is now actively consulting again, remains Chief Content Creator for PASA, a non-exec at two organisations and still available on a freelance basis particularly for projects, training course delivery, consulting work, speeches & presentations, MC duties and non-exec roles - all on a part-time basis subject to availability.
Jonathan Dutton specialises mostly in business transformation and growth through strategic sales, marketing, communications & business development work based upon expert knowledge, experience & insight into professional procurement.
JD provides services in consulting, interim management and public speaking including MC work, group facilitation and specialist training courses for procurement & sales professionals working on both sides of the negotiating table.
Based upon his long career working in, around and across from Procurement and his hands-on experience working through several leading international procurement groups, Jonathan's knowledge of the procurement industry is unrivaled.
